Returns & Refunds

Please ensure the products you order are suitable for your individual needs.

Always read the product description, it's application/s, contraindications and/or cautions stated.

It is your responsibility to select products suitable to your individual needs. 

Note that some products are time-sensitive and are to be started at certain stages of pregnancy e.g the Labour Prep & Labour Ready Herbal Extracts and the 5W capsules.

So always allow sufficient time for order processing and postage.

This is particularly relevant if you're in the later stages of pregnancy and looking to order birth prep/labour or postnatal products. Use Express Post if time is not on your side. 

Returns cannot be accepted if you didn't get to use the products because you simply didn't allow reasonable time between ordering and your baby arriving. 


The return policy is 14 days.

If 14 days have passed since your order was delivered then unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund upon product return.

Returned items must be posted at the expense of the customer (see Shipping below).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the exact same condition that you received it.

This includes being in the original packaging and unopened. Any broken seals on products cannot be returned and are not eligible for a refund. 

Any items that are damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, cannot be returned.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and returned to the original method of payment (eg. credit card, PayPal) within 7 days from notification.

Gift cards

Purchased Gift Cards can not be returned or refunded. Please note all Gift Cards have a 12 month expiry from the date of purchase.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Evidence of such defects or damage must be provided. Please get in touch.


We will provide you with the address to return your product/s. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Quality control  

We take quality control very seriously at The Mamawise Store. This begins with only sourcing premium quality, certified organic and non-irradiated herbs for the tea blends.

As these herbs are free from toxic insecticide sprays, there is the very rare possibility that herb-loving insect matter may be found.

We're fastidious and focused on screening all our raw materials to prevent this - or any other foreign matter - from being packaged.

​If you receive a herbal tea product that is found to contain a pest, please get in touch (with photos) within 7 days of receiving your products.

We will offer a full refund for the affected product, or a replacement, if you contact us within this time frame.

Refunds are for the price of the product only. The Mamawise Store cannot be held liable for other expenses incurred as a result of pest infestation or foreign matter found in products.
